The police have been arrested two men for robbing a Shimla resident near a petrol pump in Sector 54 here.

The complainant, Brij Bihari Shah, reported that two unidentified assailants attacked him with a rod and fled with his bag containing a tablet, charger, ID card, ATM card, purse with Rs 1,000 cash and other belongings on September 25.

A case under Sections 311 and 3(5) of the BNS was registered at the Sector 39 police station. Following an investigation, the police apprehended the accused, identified as Harsh, alias Billa, and Rahul, both residents of Sector 56, Chandigarh.
