Pranshi Arora, a student of Government Model Senior Secondary School, Sector 10, and Purvasha, a student of MCM DAV Women’s College, Sector 36, have been selected to represent India in the upcoming Junior and Cadet Commonwealth Fencing Championships 2024.
Chandigarh Fencing Association officials confirmed their participation in the international championships, scheduled to be held in Christchurch (New Zealand) from July 12 to 19. Secretary of the local association Munish Sharma said, “The selection of Pranshi and Purvasha’s reflects their talent and dedication to the sport. They have demonstrated their prowess in fencing consistently, earning this opportunity to compete at the international level.”
