The Tribune Employees Union will organise an All India Media Meet of the Confederation of Newspaper and News Agency Employees’ Organisations on the theme “Why print media will always remain relevant”, here on December 14 and 15.

Union president Anil Gupta said the meet assumes significance at a time when digital platforms dominate, yet print media continues to command credibility, depth and journalistic integrity.

The event will be inaugurated by Punjab Governor and UT Administrator Gulab Chand Kataria, while the concluding session will be presided over by Himachal Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri.

Several ministers, former judges and senior defence and media professionals will address various sessions. The confederation represents media employees’ unions across the country.
