Chandigarh: The city reported 168 new cases of Covid-19 in the past two days, pushing the tally to 15,804. The city also reported two deaths due to the contagion. A 67-year-old man from Sector 41, a case of diabetes mellitus, hypertension and acute chronic kidney disease, died at the PGI. A 53-year-old woman from Khuda Lahora, a case of acute respiratory distress syndrome and metabolic acidosis, also succumbed at the PGI. Besides, 87 more patients have recovered in the UT. — TNS
