Passersby rushed the victims to Kharar Civil Hospital from where they were referred to PGI. The incident came to light after the CCTV footage of the incident was captured on a nearby shop.

Eyewitnesses said there was an explosion right after the two were entangled in the wires.

Kharar DSP Karan Singh Sandhu said, “The police is verifying the incident. There was no intimation to the police. It was only through the CCTV footage that the incident was confirmed.”
