Two persons were stabbed and a motorcycle was set on fire by a group of miscreants at Dadu Majra Colony last night. The police detained three juveniles in the case.

Sources said that the miscreants, who were in an inebriated condition, had an altercation with the local residents. “The accused asked for a matchbox. When they were asked to leave, they attacked the residents,” said the sources.

They stabbed Ashok and Vijay and also set a bike owned by Vinay Kumar on fire. The police said raids were being conducted to nab the other suspects. —
