The two suspects have been identified as Ajit (18) and Manish (19), both residents of Kambala village. The duo had eloped with two girls, including a minor.

The police said the two suspects along with two girls, both sisters, were working at a factory in Industrial Area here. On April 22, the duo made a plan to take girls with them to Haridwar.

Investigation officer (IO), ASI Sikandar Singh, said the suspects along with girls reached Ambala from Mohali on foot and from there they hired a truck to Haridwar.
