Two Zirakpur residents hang self to death

Two persons ended their lives in two separate incidents in Zirakpur in the past 24 hours.
A 24-year-old Silver City resident hanged herself to death. Her husband told the police that they had been married for past six years and that she was mentally disturbed. The woman's family has been informed and further action will be taken after recording their statement, cops said.

In another incident, a 38-year-old man taxi driver ended his life. A native of Ambala, he was residing in Shivalik Vihar. He was under stress due to marital issues. The police handed over the body to the kin after a postmortem.
