To achieve these objectives, the UT desired to foster the development of a robust information and communication technology (ICT) infrastructure.”

The Adviser said, “The Police Command and Control Centre (PCCC) has been established under the ICCC project of the Chandigarh Smart City. It is monitoring the smart field elements like the CCTV surveillance cameras.”

“More than 1,000 cameras are installed for real-time surveillance of traffic junctions and other important buildings of Chandigarh like water works, parks, government hospitals, community centres, parking locations, schools and others at around 285 locations.
