Amid the coal crisis across the country, the Citizens’ Welfare Association (CWA), the apex body of all residents’ welfare associations (RWAs) in Panchkula, has urged locals to wisely use electricity to bring down their overall consumption.

SK Nayar, president, CWA, said, “As everyone must be aware of the power crisis, reported by the media, I request all of you to turn off fans, lights, coolers, ACs and other electrical appliances at the time of leaving the room or office. By saving energy, one can contribute to the state and country,” he said. — TNS
