The Department of Higher Education, Chandigarh Administration, will organise a state-level function for “Nasha Mukt Abhiyaan” Chandigarh on Friday (February 21) at the Post Graduate Government College for Girls, Sector 42, here. Gulab Chand Kataria, Governor of Punjab and UT Administrator, will be the chief guest on the occasion. He will engage the youth in the mission to create a healthy and empowered generation free from drug abuse during the function.

Committed to raise awareness among young stakeholders, the Chandigarh Administration has organised various inter-college activities promoting a healthy lifestyle and nation-building. The winners of these competitions will be felicitated by Kataria during the event.

Besides, singer and actor Dr Satinder Sartaaj will participate in the event to amplify the message of the campaign. He will also be designated as the brand ambassador for the Chandigarh Administration’s “Nasha Mukt Abhiyaan”. During the event, Kataria will unveil the official logo, activity calendar and a special song dedicated to the mission of “Nasha Mukt Chandigarh”. This song will be regularly played on Swachh Sawari vehicles across the city.
