Vagabond found dead in an auto at Mani Majra

Chandigarh, October 3
A vagabond, aged around 45, was found dead in an auto at Mani Majra here today.
The police had received information about a man lying unconscious in an auto following which cops reached the spot. The victim was taken to Government Multi-Specialty Hospital (GMSH) in Sector 16, where doctors declared him brought dead.
An investigation by the police revealed that the victim was known as Ram and used to sleep in parks and bus queue shelters at Mani Majra.
The body has been shifted to the mortuary and an inquest proceeding has been initiated at the Mani Majra police station. The police have ruled out any foul play into the incident.
