Vardan scored 27 points as St Kabir School, Sector 26, recorded a 45-38 win over Strawberry Fields School, Sector 26, to win the boys’ U-14 final, during the Sardar Bhagwant Singh Memorial Basketball Trophy at the Sector 42 Sports Complex. Riyansh posted 15 for the Sector 26 team.

Sacred Heart School, Sector 26, won the girls’ final by defeating Learning Paths School, Mohali, 32-19. With nine points, Callista scored the highest for the winners, while Khushnoor scored 16 for the runners-up. Saupin’s School, Sector 32, posted a 14-12 win over Vivek High School, Mohali, to win the boys’ U-10 title as Akul scored six points. Abir scored 10 points for the runners-up team. The girls’ team of Learning Paths School declared winners of the tournament based on its league scores.
