Meanwhile, students have announced a massive protest against the university authorities demanding rollback of the “controversial” affidavit. The students will start the protest by marking strike outside the Vice-Chancellor’s office.

The authorities had asked the students to submit an affidavit confirming that they will not hold protests without prior approval and comply with specified restrictions on location and conduct.
