Chandigarh: Baroda U-19 boys defeated their Punjab counterparts by 52 runs in a Vinoo Mankad Trophy match at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad on Thursday. Put in to bat, Baroda scored 275/9 in the allotted 50 overs. Rajvirsinh Jadav (81) and Harsh Desai (54) did the bulk of scoring for the side. Uday Saharan, Harshdeep Singh and Emanjot Singh Chahal took two wickets each. In reply, Punjab were bowled out for 223 runs in 45.4 overs even as Saharan scored a defiant 73.
