Virus claims one life in Chandigarh, 82 test +ve

Chandigarh: The city on Wednesday reported 82 fresh cases of Covid and one death, taking the UT case tally to 19,266 and the toll to 313. A total of 76 more patients recovered from the disease in the past 24 hours. TNS

Mohali: Three Covid-19 deaths and 105 new cases cases were reported from the district here on Wednesday. As many as 152 more patients recovered from the virus in the past 24 hours. There are now 1,624 active cases in the district. With three deaths on Wednesday, the toll has reached 334 in the district. Meanwhile, Additional District Magistrate Aashika Jain said passengers who arrived from the UK at the Mohali airport after November 25 would be tested for the virus. TNS
