Vishwajeet Singh scored the first century of the 2nd Gully Cricket tournament organised by the UT Cricket Association and Chandigarh Police. In the match played between Team No. 102 and Team No. 101, Vishwajit remained unbeaten at 120.

Batting first, Team No. 102 scored 270 in the stipulated 10 overs. Vishwajit smashed 11 boundaries and 11 sixes off just 32 balls. He was ably supported by Krishna Dhiman (70) and Piyush Verma (49). In reply, Team No. 101 posted just 39/7.

A total of 32 matches were played today. Team No. 59 defeated Team No. 60 by 39 runs, Team no. 62 overpowered Team No. 61 by 45 runs, Team No. 75 ousted Team No. 76 by 88 runs, Team No. 86 outplayed Team No. 85 by 53 runs, Team No. 94 defeated Team No. 93 by five wickets, Team No. 107 logged a two-run win over Team No. 108, Team No. 100 defeated Team No. 99 by eight wickets, Team No. 51 recorded a 65-run win over Team No 52. Team No. 68 defeated Team No. 67 by eight wickets, Team No. 91 outplayed Team No. 92 by 68 runs, Team No. 84 defeated Team No. 83 by 65 runs in the boys’ category.

In the girls’ category, Team No. 13 defeated Team No. 12 by four wickets, Team No. 14 ousted Team No. 15 by 31 runs, Team No. 7 defeated Team No. 6 by 35 runs and Team No. 17 overpowered Team No. 16 by one run.
