Walkathon on cybersecurity awareness by Bankers’ Club

The club is a forum of senior bankers based in the city and comprises members from RBI, NABARD, SBI, PNB, ICICI bank, HDFC bank and all banks in the region which have at least one senior officer in the rank of Deputy General Manager.
The walkathon was flagged off by M Rajeshwar Rao, Deputy Governor, Reserve Bank of India. The event was aimed at spreading awareness about cyber safety, digital hygiene and responsible online behaviour.
According to a press release, Vivek Srivastava, President Bankers’ club said, “We are delighted with the overwhelming response. The walkathon has sent out a strong message on importance of cybersecurity in our daily lives.
