The city witnessed the warmest February day in the past three years today.

Chandigarh recorded 27°C as the maximum temperature — four degrees above normal. According to the Chandigarh Meteorological Department, last year this month, the highest maximum temperature was 26.4°C on February 21. In 2019, the highest day temperature was 25.6°C on February 4.

The minimum temperature today was 10.3°C, two degrees above normal. The past few days have been sunny, leading to an increase in the temperature. According to the weatherman, the next three days are likely to witness a clear sky. The minimum and maximum temperatures are likely to remain the same. — TNS
