Chandigarh, March 17
An assistant sub-inspector of police here has written a Punjabi song on battling coronavirus.
ASI Bhupinder Singh, shared a clip on his YouTube channel—Bhupinder Singh Chandigarh police traffic—and advised people for maintaining a safe distance from others.
The 1:47-minute clip has generated quite a buzz online. Users were seen posting emojis, while one user wrote: “Nice”, another said: “Nice song sir”.
He is urging the people through a song to take preventive measures to prevent its spread by greeting each other with folded hands instead of shaking hands.

Earlier in a Punjabi song shared by the Chandigarh Police on its Twitter handle, Singh said many people are killed in road accidents and fines for traffic violations were low, which failed to deter violators.
“Now the implementation of new law has been announced. And do not complain that challans have become hefty. It will hit your kitchen budget,” says Singh’s song.
The officer and singing enthusiast urged the youth not to drive before they attain the age of 18, otherwise their parents could land in trouble.
