Water supply in Mohali to be hit for 2 days

In view of a sudden leakage in a pipeline of Phase IV of the Kajauli Waterworks, the water supply would be affected in various parts of the city for the next two days.

Sunil Kumar, Executive Engineer, Water Supply and Sanitation Division No. 2, said the supply would be hit in Phase 3B2, 8, 9 and 10, Sectors 70 and 71, Shahi Majra village and Phase I to V of the Industrial Area on November 29 and 30.

He said on Sunday morning, the water supply to these areas would be at low pressure and as per the availability of water. He said in the afternoon, there would be no supply while in the evening, the supply would be at low pressure and as per the availability of water.

The official said on Monday morning and evening, the supply would depend on the availability of water while there would be no supply in the afternoon. —TNS
