Water supply to be hit in Chandigarh tomorrow

Chandigarh: The city will get water supply at low pressure on August 1. Due to urgent repair work at 66 kV grid substation in Sector 39, the power supply will remain suspended to the water works in Sector 39. Due to this, there will be no pumping of water to all water works and the areas where direct supply is provided from the Sector 39 water works. Therefore, the water supply will be at full pressure from 3 am to 7 am on August 1, and at low pressure from 7 am to 9.30 am. In the evening also, the water supply will be at low pressure from 6 pm to 8.30 pm.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
