After securing the Panjab University Campus Students’ Council presidential post for the first time, the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) has announced to host a placement fair for students on the campus. Newly elected president Gaurav Veer Sohal underscored that the student community will witness a constructive academic environment. “I extend heartfelt gratitude to allies INSO and HSRA, who stood shoulder to shoulder with ABVP,” said Sohal.

ABVP national general secretary Virendra Solanki said this was not just an election result, but a triumph of ideas.

In the elections, Rohit Negta won the post of joint secretary from the Department of Evening Studies with 400 votes, defeating his closest rival by 60 votes.
