Every section has contributed to the making of the City Beautiful, but the role of people coming from Purvanchal, who have to leave their city, village and family, is the most important, said Union Minister of State for Home Nityanand Rai. Nityanand took part in a public meeting organised by the Purvanchal cell of the BJP at Vikas Nagar, Mauli Jagran, today.

State BJP president Arun Sood, state general secretary Ramveer Bhatti, state secretary Amit Rana were also present

The minister said, “The Home Minister and the Prime Minister have sent me in the service of you people by making me the minister in charge of all Union Territories, including Chandigarh. Just as you have made Chandigarh, so will Nityananda make you. He invited the people of Purvanchal living in Chandigarh to Ayodhya for the inauguration of the Ram temple.” — TNS
