The Operation Cell of the UT police has arrested two persons, including a woman, with two country-made pistols and 10 live cartridges.

According to the police, Rahul, alias Shabu (24), and the woman were arrested from the road separating Sectors 36 and 42 here while riding an Accent car. The police said two country-made pistols and 10 live cartridges were recovered from them.

A case under the Arms Act has been registered against the accused at the Sector 36 police station and an investigation has been initiated into the matter.
