The UT police have booked a woman for attacking a security guard and illegally occupying a dwelling unit. Tarun Kant, Sub Divisional Engineer, Chandigarh Housing Board, alleged that the woman along with others thrashed a security guard and gained the possession of the house at Maloya after breaking the locks. The police have registered a case at the Maloya station.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
