According to the police, victim Raj Kumari reported that three suspects — a man and two women — offered her a lift from near Sanatan Dharam Mandir, Sector 37, to her house.

The police said one of the women asked the victim that another woman sitting in the car was calling her. The victim walked up to the car and the suspect told her that she knew her and would drop her home.

The victim initially refused, but on being insisted, she sat in the car and the man started driving on a road which did not lead to her house. She objected following which the suspects dropped her near the Sector 37 market and left.
