Four unidentified women robbed a Noida resident of her gold bangles near Patiala Chowk here on Tuesday. Victim Amarjit, a resident of Noida, came to visit her niece in Zirakpur.

In her complaint to the police, the victim stated that she boarded an auto-rickshaw from Patiala Chowk. Four unidentified women also boarded the auto. Later, the women deboarded the auto-rickshaw and started walking towards a car waiting for them. The victim later realised that her gold bangles had been stolen.

She tried to chase the suspects, but they fled in the car, said the police. The victim managed to note down the registration number of the car. SI Ajit Singh said the police have registered a case. They were tracing the car.
