A young woman, with the help of her aide, allegedly snatched a gold chain from the neck of a 40-year-old woman in Pinjore yesterday.

The incident took place around 5 pm when the victim, a resident of Shiv Colony, had just left her house for an evening stroll.

Vijayanti told the police that the suspect pulled her chain. She chased her but she escaped with her aide on a motorcycle.

A case was registered against unidentified persons under Sections 34 (common intention), and 379A (snatching) at the Pinjore police station. —
