Two youths have been arrested in a case of snatching.

The accused were identified as Vinit (20) and Ganesh (20), both from Dhanas.

Complainant Babli of Kaimbwala, who works as a sweeper in Sector 19, stated that two motorcycle-borne youths approached her while she was returning home after picking up her son from a crèche in Sector 19 on Friday evening. The pillion rider allegedly snatched her phone and tried to flee.

However, the complainant grabbed him from behind, causing him to fall. With the help of a woman accompanying her and a police official present nearby, the bikers were apprehended on the spot. The bike used in the crime was found to be stolen from Sector 38.
