A clip of two women allegedly being harassed by men on Holi has emerged on all social media platforms. The 22-second clip has two women riding their scooty on the streets of Chandigarh.

A video purportedly shot on the Panjab University (PU) campus went viral in which youths are seen throwing colours on two girls riding an Activa. The video shows unknown youths throwing colours on the girls and applying these on their faces against their wish. The girls, who were negotiating their way through traffic, were about to fall.

The video went viral after which people posted it on Twitter handle of the Chandigarh Traffic Police demanding action against the rowdy revellers

The police traced the girls, but they refused to lodge a complaint in this regard.

The video was shared on Twitter by the user, Manoj Muntashir. He wrote: “So this is your Holi .. !!! Shame or she even blew in the air with Gulal ..???”

The SSP claimed that police was “already looking into this”.
