During a review meeting of the District De-addiction and Rehabilitation Society, Mohali, Deputy Commissioner Komal Mittal checked the working of Out-Patient Opioid Assisted Treatment (OOAT) centres and De-addiction and Rehabilitation Centres running in the district. She said private de-addiction and rehabilitation centres must be inspected on regular intervals.

The DC while approving enhancement in food expenses provided at De-addiction and Rehabilitation Centres, also gave a nod to set up a canteen at the District the De-addiction and Rehabilitation Centre, Sector 66, Mohali. Deputy Medical Commissioner Dr Parvinderpal Kaur, Assistant Civil Dr Girish Dogra, SMOs and psychiatrists were also present at the meeting.
