Chandigarh, January 29
A one day workshop on “Technological advances and innovations in Immunology” was organised by the Department of Biochemistry, Panjab University, Chandigarh, today. Prof Archana Bhatnagar said the workshop was attended by students and engrossing lectures describing state-of-the-art techniques were delivered by Prof Sunil K Arora, PGIMER, Chandigarh; Dr Sharvan Sehrawat, IISER-Mohali and Dr Suman Singh, CSIR-CSIO, Chandigarh.
Later, the students experienced hands-on training session carried out by teams from Biorad as well as Klorofil Scientific & GE- healthcare. Prof Bhatnagar highlighted the importance of conducting the workshop. She further added that these techniques have comprehensive capabilities that allow the researchers to achieve sensitive and reliable sample analysis, especially in biochemistry.
