Yadvindra Public School (YPS), Mohali, posted a one-sided win over Vidya Devi Jindal School, Hisar, in the opening match of the Indian Public Schools Conference (IPSC) Inter School U-14 (girls) Basketball Tournament.

A total of 17 IPSC schools from across the country are participating in the tournament being held at YPS grounds. Hyderabad Public School, Begumpet, faced a 33-21 defeat to Emerald Heights International School, Indore, whereas Modern School, Barakhamba Road, Delhi, logged a 10-3 win over Raj Kumar College, Chhattisgarh.

Pinegrove School, Dharampur, logged a stunning 49-3 win over YPS, Patiala.
