City MP and former Union Minister Manish Tewari today emphasised the crucial role of youth in nation-building.

Addressing the gathering at the International Model United Nations Conference organised at Moti Ram Arya Senior Secondary School in Sector 27 here, he remarked that such events played a vital role in honing the capabilities of youth.

Tewari, who was the chief guest at the event, shared his personal experiences and stressed the importance of discipline in life, noting that only a disciplined individual could achieve his goals.

Among those present on the occasion were Anil Mahajan, president of the school management committee, Rachna Mahajan, director, Dr Seema Biji, Principal, and Prateek Joshi, programme coordinator.
