With one positive case reported on Tuesday, the total count of cases in the district has increased to 47,343. The Health Department has also reported the recovery of one patient with which the recovery count has increased to 45,740. The district at present has a total of seven active cases. Meanwhile, 13,039 residents were inoculated during the ongoing vaccination drive on Tuesday. Of these 8,185 received the first dose of the vaccine while 4,854 received second dose.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
