India reached 78 for no loss at lunch on the opening day of the fourth Test against England here on Wednesday.

Openers KL Rahul (40) and Yashasvi Jaiswal (36) stayed cautious after being put in to bat, playing the ball on merit.

Jaiswal particularly curbed his aggressive instinct to help provide India with a solid start. Only after spending considerable time at crease, did the left-hander swung his bat.

England are leading the five-match series 2-1, having won the first and the third Test. India won the second Test by 336 runs.
