A funny moment between Virat kohli and Axar Patel during India’s Champions Trophy clash against New Zealand has taken social media by storm. The group A game, held in Dubai on Sunday, saw the Blackcaps chasing a 250-run target. While Kane Williamson anchored the innings with a solid knock, India kept striking at crucial intervals to stay ahead in the game.

Williamson, looking set to take the game away from India, was dismissed by Axar Patel for 81, leaving New Zealnd in deep trouble. As Indian players gathered to celebrate the wicket, Kohli bent down to touch Axar’s feet in admiration. The spinner quickly stopped him, and it all ended with a laugh.

Meanwhile, India secured a comfortable 44-run victory, finishing at the top of Group A and setting up a semi-final showdown with Australia.
