According to the complaint, Mohit lost his mobile phone on September 28 while traveling by public transport from Palwal to the Badarpur border in Faridabad. He discovered that Rs 1.15 lakh had been fraudulently withdrawn from his bank account in three separate transactions and subsequently lodged a complaint.

Inspector Kumar revealed that a breakthrough came on Tuesday when a team led by ASI Devi Singh arrested the accused from his village. While further interrogation is underway, the police have not ruled out the possibility of additional arrests in the case.
