The police identified the car driver as Angad, a resident of Lal Kothi on Roshnara Road.

Preliminary examination suggests that the two-wheeler riders were travelling on the wrong side. The speeding car, which was reportedly being driven in a rash and negligent manner, collided with the scooter and overturned.

One of the injured, an unidentified man aged around 27 — suspected to be a bike taxi driver — was shifted to RML Hospital by the car driver, who later fled the spot.
