The BJP thinks that it has no responsibility of law and order in Delhi. The people of the city have them seven MPs, but still they don’t issue any statement regarding such incidents or any plan to improve law

and order. — Saurabh Bharadwaj, AAP minister

According to Deputy Commissioner of Police (North East) Rakesh Paweriya, three suspects carried out the attacks. The first incident occurred around 1 am in Kabir Nagar, where the assailants opened fire at Nadeem, alias Bobby, and his companion Shahnawaz. The attackers stole Nadeem’s scooter and fled the scene, leaving behind their motorcycle.

Nadeem and Shahnawaz were rushed to a nearby hospital, where Nadeem was declared dead, while Shahnawaz is currently receiving treatment for a gunshot wound to his leg.

Shortly after the Kabir Nagar shooting, the suspects rode the stolen scooter to Jyoti Nagar, where they fired multiple shots at a house. A local resident, Rahul, reported the incident to the police around 1.26 am, stating that three men had arrived on a scooter and opened fire at his residence. Fortunately, no one was injured in the second incident.

The police recovered three empty cartridges and the suspects’ motorcycle at the Kabir Nagar location, while six empty cartridges and one live cartridge were found outside Rahul’s home in Jyoti Nagar.

The three accused were later arrested in the same area. Initial investigations

suggest the attacks stemmed from a financial dispute, with the suspects allegedly targeting Nadeem over an outstanding debt of Rs 10,000. Shahnawaz, who was with Nadeem at the time, was reportedly injured unintentionally.

A murder case has been registered at the Welcome Police Station, and a separate FIR has been filed in Jyoti Nagar.
