2 youths stab shopkeeper to death in Faridabad

Two youths stabbed a shopkeeper, Inderjeet (33), to death at Jharsently village in Faridabad late last evening.
His brother Netrapal said in the complaint that two villagers Nitesh and Mohit came to Inderjeet’s shop and took him on their bike to Manish’s shop, where Inderjeet went to buy cigarettes.
“In the meantime, Nitesh and Mohit caught Inderjeet and stabbed him with a knife on the chest. They fled the spot,” he added.
Manish, an eyewitness, said the accused threatened him as well when he tried to intervene. Inderjeet’s family rushed him to a hospital, where he was declared dead.
“One of the accused was picked up by the Crime Branch team for questioning in some cases. They suspected that Inderjeet had informed the police,” said Inspector Anup Kumar.
