6-year-old girl crushed under school bus

A 6-year-old girl waiting for her school bus in Dhanokri village was hit by a tractor and was crushed by her school bus.

She was critically injured after both the front and rear tires of the bus passed over her. She succumbed to the injuries at a hospital. An FIR has been registered against the drivers of the bus and the tractor at Bilaspur police station.

According to the police, the deceased girl was identified as Yanshika, a UKG student at Virat International School, Kapriwas village in Rewari district. Yanshika’s father said that around 7.00 am today, Yanshika was waiting for the school bus outside the house in her uniform. A tractor passed by and hit her, she was then crushed by the bus coming from the other direction.

“We took the body in custody and sent it for postmortem. An FIR has been registered against both the drivers of the bus and the tractor. Both the accused will be arrested soon,” ASI Ramesh Kumar, the investigating officer, said.
