The incident took place around 8.15 am on Thursday at Welcome Hotel, located in Sukhrali Enclave, when police received information about the abduction of a hotel employee. The accused had allegedly assaulted the victim and fled with the hotel’s CCTV DVR and record register. They subsequently demanded Rs 2 lakh for his release, prompting the hotel operator to transfer Rs10,000 to the account provided by the abductors.

Following the FIR, a police team launched raids and apprehended all seven accused from Ambala within hours on Thursday, successfully rescuing the abducted employee. The arrested individuals were identified as Narender Kumar, Ravi Kumar, Sachin and Sahil, all residents of Jind district.

According to the police, Narender Kumar had checked into the hotel with his female friend. However, a dispute soon erupted between them and the hotel operator subsequently evicted them.
