The Delhi High Court on Tuesday said it will hear on November 29 Congress leader Jagdish Tytler’s petition challenging framing of charges of murder and other offences against him in a case related to the killing of three Sikhs in Pul Bangash area of the Capital during 1984 anti-Sikh riots.

After briefly hearing Tytler’s petition, Justice Manoj Kumar Ohri asked his lawyer to file statements of certain witnesses which were not on record and posted the matter for further hearing on November 29.

Tytler has challenged the September 13 order of a Delhi court framing charges of murder and other offences against him, claiming that he was a victim of a “witch-hunt”. He contended that the trial court’s order was perverse, illegal and lacked application of mind.
