AAP moves to new office in Lutyens Zone

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has officially begun relocating its headquarters to Bungalow No. 1, Ravi Shankar Shukla Lane in Lutyens Zone here. The new office, centrally located and within walking distance of the Mandi House roundabout, is set to become the new hub for AAP’s political activities.
“The AAP started vacating its previous headquarters at Rouse Avenue from Sunday. The party has already put up its board at the newly allocated building,” the party said. On Sunday, the new office was abuzz with activity as staff installed signboards and completed final preparations. This new location will now serve as the centre of AAP’s operations.
The move follows a July 25 allocation of the new bungalow to AAP by the Centre, prompted by a Delhi High Court order dated June 5. The court had directed the Union Government to allocate space for a party office in the Capital, similar to provisions for other parties, following a plea from AAP.

Earlier, the AAP operated from 206, Deen Dayal Upadhyaya (DDU) Marg on Rouse Avenue Road near ITO. The property at 206, DDU Marg, is owned by the Delhi judiciary, which required the space to expand district services.
