AAP replaces candidates on Hari Nagar, Narela seats

With just few weeks to go for the Delhi Assembly elections, the AAP on Wednesday replaced its candidates in Narela and Hari Nagar Assembly constituencies.

In Narela, Dinesh Bharadwaj was replaced by Sharad Chauhan. Chauhan, whose name was dropped this time, remained two-time AAP MLA from the seat.

In Hari Nagar constituency, incumbent MLA Raj Kumari Dhillon was replaced by Surinder Setia. The Congress has fielded Aruna Kumar, while the BJP has fielded Raj Karan Khatri against AAP’s Sharad Chauhan from Narela.

In Hari Nagar, Surinder Setia is pitted in a triangular contest with

Prem Sharma from the Congress and Shyam Sharma from the BJP.

Chauhan, in a post on X, expressed gratitude to the AAP’s top leadership over the confidence they showed in him again.
