BJP MLA and Leader of Opposition in the West Bengal Assembly Suvendu Adhikari met Union Home Minister Amit Shah anon Tuesday to discuss various issues concerning the state.

Adhikari also met Union Minister Mansukh Mandaviya. He is scheduled to meet BJP national president JP Nadda, party sources said, adding that the leader from Bengal may also have an appointment with PM Narendra Modi. — TNS

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
