Admn to probe registries acquired without NOC

Gurugram DC Ajay Kumar constituted an investigation committee to look into the matter of land registries being acquired without an NOC in Farrukhnagar, Badshahpur and Manesar tehsils, covering the period bewteen April 1 and August 31.

According to an official statement, the committee was formed after numerous complaints were received from the district’s residents. The committee will conduct a thorough investigation of all the land registrations done over the past five months and will submit its report to the DC office. Acquiring the registry without an NOC is in violation of Section 7A of the Haryana Development and Regulation of Urban Areas Act. According to the order, three assistant-level employees from the DC office have been included in the committee and they will work under the supervision of the SDM concerned.

“Necessary action will be taken on the basis of the committee’s report so that such issues do not arise in the future,” the DC said.
