The process will cover various undergraduate and postgraduate programmes offered by the university.
The university has released a detailed schedule for the same on its official website — with the list of seats available in each school. Candidates who had applied under the sports quota can also check the merit list, which has already been published online.
Officials said, “The allocation of seats will be carried out on the basis of the merit list, only after thorough verification of documents. It will take place on the counselling day itself, ensuring that the process remains transparent and merit-driven.”
Students have been instructed to carry a bank draft of Rs 96,000 in favour of the Registrar, GGSIPU, along with all the necessary original documents and photocopies for verification. Failure to present the required documents may result in cancellation of the candidate’s claim under the quota.
The sports quota is an important channel through which talented athletes get an opportunity to pursue higher education while continuing to nurture their sporting abilities.
For more detailed information regarding the counselling process, seat availability and other instructions, candidates have been advised to visit the university’s official portals — www.ipu.ac.in and www.ipu.admissions.nic.in.
